In my opinion, eyeliner is one of the hardest things to master when it comes to makeup (besides false lashes). It takes a steady hand, patience, but the key is to find a great product. Liquid liner has always worked best for me. It creates thinner, more precise lines vs a gel or pencil liner. I have a few favorite liquid liners as of now, but you know I'm always looking to add to my collection. Anastasia Beverly Hills has had several gel pot eyeliners, but they recently launched a new liquid liner! They claim it is completely waterproof, matte, and highly pigmented. It also claims to not bleed, skip, or run upon application or throughout the day. I assumed this liner would be set up like most eyeliners are (take the cap off and it's a felt tip). But, this one has a unique design. The cap is actually an elongated pot of black liquid. Think of how you used to have to dip a quill into an ink pot. I'm not sure if it's the set up or what but this liner does work differently. It isn't awful by any means and actually works well for inner corner. But the main issue is how quickly the ink dries out. For lining one eye, I had to dip back in 2-3 times. As opposed to a normal felt tip where I can complete two eyes without having to reapply or lose pigmentation. A positive of this product is that it is completely waterproof. It refuses to come off unless you use a good makeup remover. But unfortunately it does skip quite a bit when applying. I noticed myself having to go over the same line multiple times. Overall, this product is ok...but there are many others I would recommend before this one. If you are looking for a good eyeliner around the same price, I would suggest Stila or Too Faced.
