I believe the first step to beautiful skin is your skincare routine. Yes, makeup can help cover imperfections, but if your skin isn't healthy, your makeup won't look nearly as good. It's just like painting. You have to have a clean canvas to create a beautiful image, you can't paint over a dirty one. Since I had been using the same cleanser since I was in 6th grade, I thought it was probably time to try something new. I have heard a lot of good things about Bare Minerals skincare from both customers in the store and my fellow associates. I decided to try this product because I prefer a foaming cleanser opposed to a gel or oil. This foam is made with sea salts to purify skin, elderflower to help enrich the skin in antioxidants and vitamins, and rosemary extracts to awaken the skin and your senses. According to Bare Minerals website, this cleanser works on all skin types, is oil free, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, and not tested on animals. When it comes to the application of the product, I learned that a little goes a LONG way. All you need is a small, pea sized amount to clean your entire face. The foam can be a little overwhelming at first. If you accidentally get this in your eyes or mouth, it starts to burn pretty quickly. Which I have a habit of doing. After rinsing your face, your skin almost feels like theres a residue or film on it. As if the product didn't fully sink into your pores and cleaned them. As much I love all the ingredients in this formula, the sticky, residue feeling after you wash your face isn't enough for me to recommend this product to my readers.
