In this age of constant overflow of information and the never ending need from consumers, especially in the beauty community, it's sometimes hard to create something unique. But, I think Bh Cosmetics really took their time to create something that no one else had done yet. I really love the whole concept of the palette as a whole. There is a bright, white highlight in the center to make your cheekbones or the inner corners of your eyes pop. Then, there are 12 matte shades that perfectly compliment their outside shimmer shade. Something very cool about this palette is the fact that the colors have to do with the zodiac sign they are named after. For example, Capricorn is an earth sign which is why its a mossy green. Cancer is a water sign, which is why its a beautiful, shimmering blue. When first pressing the shimmer shadows they feel quite hard and not something I'm not usually used to. But, that is because Bh cosmetics likes to bake their shadows to lock in the pigment. Every color in this palette swatches beautifully. What I like to do with these particular shadows is to do the mattes all over my lid and blend out to the corners. Then, I like to do the complementing shimmer shadow on my lid to help my eyes pop! This palette is so worth it and the looks you can do with it are endless!
