I have never really gotten into Bliss products. They RARELY launch new products so I kind of forgot they existed to be honest. I was recently looking for a new moisturizer that wouldn't break the bank as well as not break me out. My coworker, who happens to be an aesthetician, recommended the brand to me. She said the ingredients aren't too bad as Bliss products are made without parabens, phalates, and SLS. All of which should never been in your products, let alone going on your face. I was surprised by this product because I read that it's made with 4 types of hyaluronic acid. In previous posts, I had mentioned how hyaluronic acid is a key competent in getting hydrated and luminous skin. This moisturizer is made with 4 different types supposedly help to penetrate each layer of skin, making sure it is deeply nourished (I don't know about all that...) With a average 4 1/2 star rating on the Ulta website, I was sold. However, I wasn't as impressed as everyone else seemed to be. I would definitely describe this product as a drugstore dupe for Clinique's Moisture Surge. It has a similar watery, lightweight consistency. I like water based moisturizer's because they an easy base for makeup without making my skin feel weighed down. But this one just isn't it. This product is actually so watery that your face feels wet. And that wet feeling doesn't go away for about 20-30 minutes after application. This is not ideal if you are on "on the go" kind of person like myself. If the product has not fully dried, it's also a nightmare to try and put makeup on top of. Everything just slides right off. Now, I don't hate this product. I just know there are things out there that I like better. I'm gonna finish up using the jar I have since it doesn't irritate my skin. But, I think you are better off spending $20 more and getting the Clinique Moisture Surge.
