Every month at Ulta we have a focus hair brand. We use it in our salons, watch trainings, and even receive free product to better learn about the brand. The latest brand for us to discover was Bondi Boost. Bondi Boost is an Australian made company creating professional hair products to help achieve the hair of your dreams! Their products are made with organic natural ingredients that are never made with sulfates, silicones, or parabens. Not only do they care about their products, they care about their people too. According to the brands website, for every purchase of products, they will donate $1 to a variety of non-profit organizations. I was beyond impressed by that and felt honored that Ulta chose to showcase this brand for their stores. After learning about Bondi Boosts efficacy and mission, I was excited to finally try some of their products. Since I don't really style my hair, I chose to try their hair mask. Hair masks are a great step to add to your routine because they help to deeply nourish hair that may be feeling dry, frizzy, or even damaged. After trying this several times, I was honestly pretty disappointed. I noticed very little difference in my hair. Most hair masks I have tried have a thick consistency to ensure the hair is coated and can drink up all the product. However, the formula of this one is quite runny. With all the oils in the ingredients I was surprised that my hair didn't feel more hydrated. The jar also stated that it smelt like candy canes, but it sadly did not. The only good thing about this product was that it helped to diminish frizz in my hair. Overall, I was not pleased with this product. It felt like just a normal conditioner. I wouldn't buy this again, but I am willing to try more products from this brand because I think they are a great company trying to do great things!
