Originally I didn't plan on reviewing this because I thought it's just a basic conditioner. But, after reading this products claims on all that it does, I wanted to let you know my thoughts on how it worked for me. Bumble and Bumble offers a variety of haircare and styling products for all hair types. I picked up this conditioner from the their thickening line because I am always in desperate need of volume. I have pin straight, thin hair. As much as I am grateful for the hair I was born with, there's no harm in wanting to give it a little more va-va-voom! This conditioner claims to "add weightless moisture, helps to soften, give hair more shine, and provide extra volume." Bumble and Bumble has also included their one of a kind Emblica technology into this line. This technology claims to "expand each strand for voluminous, full bodied styles." I don't know about all that but it certainly sounds enticing. This product was made for those with fine to medium and straight to wavy hair. But, it can used on any hair type. As with any beauty product, there are always a few key ingredients that make it unique. The first is Pro Vitamin B5 which is found in most conditioners and is an agent used to make hair softer. The next main ingredient that sets this product apart is Hydroxyethyl Cellulose. This is the thickening agent found in the conditioner. I've used this product for the last 3-4 months and I honestly haven't seen much of a difference. I thought the more I use it, the more results I would see. But, that unfortunately isn't the case here. If we're being real here, it feels like any regular conditioner. Besides the fact that it's cruelty free, I don't really understand why it's priced at $34. That seems like too much to be paying for something that doesn't deliver like it said it would. This product did work perfectly fine for me and helped to detangle my knotted hair. But, it didn't do anything it claimed. And it is NOT worth the big price tag. I'm going to finish the bottle I have now but I won't be re-buying this product. I've had much more luck with Redken shampoo and conditioners, which are about $15 cheaper and work as promised.
