Before the Poreless Putty Primer from Elf, Catrice had their own type of putty primer called The Prime and Fine. It has the same consistency similar to Elf primer. It is a silicone based primer to help reduce fine lines and the appearance of pores. I was sadly disappointed in this product. It felt very greasy upon application and actually made my pores look bigger. I wore it under a matte foundation to see how well it wore. After a couples hours I noticed patches on my face where it looked as though my foundation completely melted off. My face continued to feel greasy throughout the day and continued to push the foundation off of it. By the end of the day, it looked like I hadn't put on makeup at all. The next morning when I woke up, I had deep acne all over my face. I'm not sure if it was all the oil buildup in the product or if I was allergic to a specific ingredient, but my skin did not agree with this. I threw it away immediately. I don't recommend this to anyone. If you are looking for a pore filling, silicone based primer I suggest the Smashbox Photo Finish primer. It is a bit more expensive, but it won't break your face out and keeps your makeup looking flawless all day.
