I received this product at work as a gift and I thought it would be PERFECT to review for those readers! A little background on the brand. Clarins is a family owned skincare brand out of Paris, France. They have been number one in european luxury skincare for many years now. The brand also uses all natural ingredients such as flowers, roots, and plants; all of which are purchased with fair trade principles. This serum is a gel formula for all skin types. The three key ingredients (mitracarpus, kangaroo flower, and white lupine), help to visibly firm, tighten, and smooth the skin. This product is to be used on clean skin before you put on moisturizer. Many skin therapists recommend when applying a serum to rub it in upward, circular motions to help skin fight sagging and to reawaken the cells underneath. It does have some immediate, visible affects but, they suggest to use the serum daily to create a lasting look. If you stop using the product however, the firming and tightening will fade within a couple of weeks. Although the bottle is very big for a serum, a small pea sized amount is all you need for your face.
