The Beyond Perfecting foundation from Clinique, but my skin gets so horribly dry during the winter I needed something a bit more hydrating. The Even Better Refresh foundation is made with hylauronic acid to help deeply hydrate skin and saliclyic acid to re-texutrize skin. This foundation is perfect for those with very dry to combination oily skin. The finish is natural to somewhat dewy. It comes in 40 shades from very fair to deep. Clinique claims that this foundation is full coverage but I have to disagree. It is a buildable foundation, but definitely not full coverage as marketed. One thing I really disliked about this product is no matter how much you set this, it always rubs off within a few hours of wear. Since the foundation has such a high amount of hylauronic acid this product seems more like a tinted moisturizer not a full coverage foundation. I also had an issue after setting the product with powder, the foundation would rub off when I brushed away the powder. Which means that the foundation never really sunk into the skin. And for $32 dollars I expected much more from this. However, it isn't terrible. I like to use this on my lighter days when I need a little coverage. It does a wonderful job of hydrating dry, dull skin. Overall, I was unsatisfied product, but I will keep it to swipe on when I'm in a hurry and new a bit of coverage. But, for $32, there are much better foundations. If you have dry skin like me, I recommend using a hydrating primer with the amazing Beyond Perfecting foundation from Clinique. That will give you the hydration AND coverage you are wanting!
