With all the constant releases and launches in the makeup community, sometimes it's hard for brands to stand out and make something people haven't seen before. But, Colourpop had the genius idea of combining two things everyone loves: Disney and Villains. Enter the new Villains collection! This palette is unlike anything I've seen in the makeup community. Everything from the packaging, to the color story, to even the names is completely unique!! I think a big selling point of this collection (besides how INSANELY pigmented it is,) is that it reminds us of our childhood. I thought it was very smart that Colourpop didn't stick to the basic, all neutral eyeshadows. It was time for something new. All the shades in this product are unique, yet work together so well. There are five matte shades and ten metallic shades. These shades are VERY easy to blend out. They are pigmented, so a little goes a long way. When it comes to the shimmer shades, you can use a brush or even your fingers! They're so pigmented that you don't even need to wet your brush before application. I really felt like Colourpop put a lot of effort into making this because the packaging and even the shade names match the villains in the collection! The shade No Spots is white because of the dogs in 101 Dalmatians, Forest of Thorns is purple because of Maleficent, and Sing is a burgundy shade because of Ursula's skin tone. I also thought it was a nice touch how on the inside they did embossing of characters and moments from the movies. I haven't been this impressed with a palette in a long time. It feels good to be bad!
