I'm not going to lie, when I first received this product at work I had no clue what it was supposed to do. I know VERY little about hair and what products to use. But, thank goodness I have an awesome job that provides me with free products so I can learn more! Pretty much the only hair care brand I use (besides Redken) is Drybar. Literally everything I have tried from them works so so well. They may be a bit expensive, but a little goes a long way so it's worth the price in my opinion. Liquid Glass is a liquid smoothing sealant that uses heat activated technology to create shield around each strand. The sealant also fights against frizz. The heat protection technology shields up to 450 degrees. Liquid Glass leaves hair looking glossy without feeling weighed down. Burdock root fights frizz while vegan keratin helps to nourish, seal the cuticle, and smoothes. According to Drybar, you are supposed to use this product on damp, clean, and de-tangled hair. However, when I used that method, I saw zero results. I asked my hairstylist if she knew anything about the product and she recommended to try it on dry hair instead of wet. A few days later, I tried her method and it worked MUCH better. I noticed it works best on days when I haven't washed my hair. When I go 2-3 days without a wash, my hair begins to get pretty frizzy. Instead of my Hot Toddy heat protectant, I used this instead to protect my hair and help to de-frizz. Overall, this product is just okay. I find it confusing how Drybar suggests to use this on wet hair despite it being a heat protectant. Besides blow drying, you should definitely not flat iron or curl your hair while it is wet. This can deeply damage the hair cuticle. It took me several tries to understand how the product works for my hair, which was a bit frustrating. Since the product was free, I will continue to use it. But, I prefer the Hot Toddy for direct heat and the Prep Rally for blow drying and de-tangling. I'm a big fan of Drybar, but this product just wasn't for me.
