Elf is somewhat known for their fantastic primers that are ridiculously cheap, so it came as no surprise when they launched their primer putty. It is VERY similar to a primer by the brand Tatcha that costs $52. Needless to say, the people were ready for a cheap dupe. Makeup influencer and Youtube personality Jeffree Star did a video reviewing the product stating that he loved it and it was practically the same product as Tatcha. After hearing his review I knew I needed it. After scouring several stores and websites, I finally found it. I was shocked to find out how AWFUL it was. Now, I gave this product several chances. I tried different moisturizers underneath and a variety of different foundations on top. Every time I wore it my makeup literally moved. I had bare spots on my face where it looked like I hadn't even applied foundation. It also cracked under my eyes, near my nose, and chin area. I was hoping in the least it would fix my pores, but they didn't look better at all, they looked WORSE. I was very upset with this product and I do not recommend it to anyone.
