I used to think of Essence as cheap, low quality drugstore makeup. But, over the years I have really grown to love the brand. Nearly everything I've tried from the line has been a smash hit. This bronzing palette is no exception. Essence's original giant Sun Club bronzer is a well known drugstore fave, but, people didn't love that there were only two shades....Essence understood the frustration among consumers and built the Sun Club Bronzing Palette. It has the same pigmented, matte formula as the original Sun Club bronzer, but now with 4 different shades. I knew Essence had high quality products, but bronzers can be a tough item to perfect. They can't be too warm otherwise they'll appear orange on the face. But, they also can't be to ashy or they will leave a grey cast. This palette is perfect because it has two shades with cool undertones and two shades with warm undertones. That way, you can either this for contour or bronzer. I personally love it because I can use it when I've been self tanning or when I'm my usual pale self. I think this product is especially valuable for makeup artists. Not only is there a diverse range of shades, but it's only $10! If you are in the market for a new bronzer, but you're unsure what color suits you best, definitely give this a try! You won't be disappointed.
