When I first got into makeup and skincare, I was a huge fan of Glamglow. From their glitzy packaging and cool products like a volcanic supermud mask, I loved it all. But, it's about 5 years since I've tried anything from them. I recently saw this cleanser from them and decided to give the brand another try. To start off, it smells AMAZING. It's eucalyptus scented, which is one of my favorites. But, unfortunately, skincare and fragrance don't usually mix well together. many brands try to incorporate a fresh smell into their products, but this is very unnecessary and can be harmful to some skin types. I believe it's the fragrance in this that actually broke my skin out. I have very sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use on my face. It caused me to have deep cystic acne on my forehead and chin. It was so deep it took almost two weeks to fully get rid of it. Besides that, I never felt like my skin was fully clean when using this product. Yes all the surface oils and dirt were gone, but after drying I still felt something on my face. It was almost like a leftover film you sometimes get when you use cheap bar soap. If your skin is not deeply cleaned, the excess oils can build up causing big breakouts and pimples. Overall, I really don't recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive skin.
