Let me be honest for a minute, I probably would have never purchased this product if I didn't get it for free from work. I rarely spend more than $10 for mascara. I usually have better luck with cheap, drugstore mascaras versus high end ones. In my opinion, mascara is something you can save your money on and still get a good product. I chose this as my free gift from work because I was intrigued to see if it actually worked. This mascara claims to have a "lash boosting" formula. It is filled with peptides that help to condition lashes while you're wearing it. This mascara also claims to both gradually and instantly lengthen your lashes. Grande Cosmetics says the formula is build able, clump free, and water resistant. It is also safe for lash extensions and contacts. The wand is fairly small with both plastic and fiber bristles. Something I really do enjoy about this product is how luxurious the packaging feels. All of Grande Cosmetics' eye products are in a beautiful, heavy gold tube. I feel like if you are going to pay $25 for a makeup item, the packaging better be just as good as the product inside. I have used this item everyday for almost a week now and I sadly have not seen any difference in the length of my eyelashes. Sure, while I actually had the mascara ON my lashes looked longer, but the claim that they gradually grow the more you wear it is false. I feel like the wand barely picks up any product, so I have to do 3-4 coats before I actually see a difference. It honestly looks great once it's on, but I feel like for $25, you should only need 1-2 coats maximum. I also noticed the mascara doesn't look as good by itself versus when you curl your eyelashes and add primer. Overall, this product is okay. I honestly wouldn't recommend buying it just because the price is so high and it doesn't live up to all of it's claims. It does look great, but applying 3 -4 coats is too much of a turn off. I think there are much better products on the market for much less.
