It only makes sense that Jaclyn Hill would create a set of highlighters in one of her first brand launches. The Youtube personality is known for her iconic glistening skin. She strategically uses highlighter to accentuate her cheekbones, the brow bone, the tip of her nose, inner corner, and cupid's bow. She claims that she always highlights these areas because they lead the eye to the best parts of her face. Jaclyn Cosmetics launched 3 one of a kind highlighters for every type of artist. The Mood Light Luminous Powder (the lightest of the bunch) can be used as a shimmering setting powder or a faint highlighter to give the skin a "from within" glow. The Accent Light highlighter is a baked highlighter that comes in a variety of 8 shades, perfect for every skin tone. The Beaming Light Loose highlighter is by far the most blinding and glamorous of the bunch. Although it has the smallest amount of product in it compared to the other two, a little goes a LONG way. I like how they decided to release both a loose and pressed powder highlighter. A pressed powder will create a more subtle, natural look while the loose product is much more pigmented and impactful. The Beaming Light highlighter comes in 6 unique shades ranging pure white to an iridescent lilac to yellow gold even to a copper bronze. This product is made with super fine, lustrous mica pearls to ensure the most blinding glow possible. I have a habit of spraying my brush with setting spray before I pick up any highlight because this amps up the intensity of the product, making it more shimmery. However, this is the one product I do not have to do that with. I actually don't recommend that method for this product either. When I tried it, it made the highlighter look chunky and somewhat painted on. Without the setting spray method, the colors were just as intense but appeared much more creamy on the skin. This is by FAR the most vivid highlighter I have ever used. This is definetley not for someone who doesn't want to be seen from a mile away, because it really is that bright.
