I've said it once and I'll say it again, this brand deserves WAY more attention because every product I've tried has been absolutely amazing. Whenever I go to Ulta I always hit the clearance section first. While working there, I found out that most (and best) markdowns happen on Sunday after store resets. Usually nothing is wrong with marked down products, but things have to either be sent back or priced down to make way for newer launches. On the particular day I went, their clearance section was quite picked over. But, I saw a little purple box hiding in the back and stumbled upon this gem. I usually pass on detox/charcoal masks since my skin is already so dry, but I love anything from Keys Soulcare so I had to give it a try! This purifying facial mask promises to restore balance and harmony to your skin. It has an intoxicating sandalwood scent that absolutely draws you in (if you are sensitive to smells, this one may be too strong). The calming smell helps you unwind and relax while the mask is working. However, the one thing that really makes this mask unique is that although it detoxes, it doesn't strip or dry out the skin. This is all thanks to the key ingredient manuka honey. Manuka honey from New Zealand is full of powerful antioxidants that help to draw moisture into the skin naturally. Another ingredient I found interesting was actually gold foil. Yes, you read that right. There are micro flecks of gold which is what gives this mask it's unique shimmer. Gold helps the skin to appear more radiant and glowy which is why it's often used as a key component in luxury skincare. After using this, my pores were immensely smaller and my face looked more tightened. I also occasionally use this as a spot treatment mask to clean out any impurities from a pimple. And after wiping it off, the pimple appears smaller and even looks less red. All in all, this is another major win from Keys Soulcare. I was very impressed with this product and will continue to try more from this brand!
