Korres is a Greek skincare brand that was created in 1996 by a pharmacist. As a boy, Giorgos Korres was always curious about how things were made. He had always been a fan over homeopathic remedies versus ones filled with hundreds of ingredients. As he got older, he saw all the awful ingredients people were putting into makeup and skincare. Giorgos saw an opportunity to put his curiosity to the test. He created Korres with the goal of having safe, clean, and effective skincare. Korres uses several all natural ingredients to target whatever skincare troubles you may be facing. Greek Yoghurt helps to soothe, Olympus Tea helps to detoxify, and Black Pine helps to firm skin. After some of their key ingredients are plucked from the farm it is off to the lab for purification. This pharmaceutical grade process helps to kill any bacteria that could be left over on the plants, leaving the fewest preservatives to create clean products. Not only are their products cruelty free, the Korres factory is also known for being environmentally responsible. The factory runs on renewable energy, operates on a "no waste" principle and uses 99% recyclable material. On the website it is stated that the brand avoids over 2,000+ toxic ingredients such as parabens, formaldehyde, and phalates. After reading how Korres does their business in a cruelty free, environmentally sustainable manner, I was sold. In my opinion, this should be the way ALL companies should behave. We have sold Korres at my Ulta store for a few months now. But, I never see anyone talking about the brand, or even buying it. I was curious to know if this all natural brand actually worked or if it was just a marketing ploy. After receiving my stimulus check I decided to go on a little Ulta shopping spree and this was one of the items I splurged on. This probiotic mask is made with real Greek yoghurt (that's actually how the Greeks spell yogurt, don't come for me) that deeply nourishes, rehydrates, and rebalances skin in just one use. The yoghurt is packed with collagen boosting probiotics and vitamins to restore dull skin. This product is made for those who have dry, sensitive, or redness in the skin. However, it can be used on any skin type. You guys know how picky I am when it comes to my skincare, if it makes outrageous claims it better work. And let me be the first to say, this stuff DOES. I honestly assumed it would be a gimmick because $50 for a face mask that doesn't even dry down? Really? But I was shocked at the results. After literally using this once my face felt baby smooth. Like fresh out of the womb soft. My favorite thing about this product is that you can wear it literally however long you want! Whether it's 10 min or an hour it does the trick! You can even sleep in it too. However, the longer you wear it, the more hydrated the skin will be. Not to mention it has an incredible natural scent of milk and honey. I really am obsessed with this mask. However, I doubt I would spend $50 on it again just because that is so much. I'm going to just use it while it lasts and bask in all the Greek goodness!
