Since KVD is now at Ulta, the brand has been sending Ulta employees several new products to try. Some of the items I got were the liquid eyeliner and this mascara. I was VERY excited to get this product because I had never seen a wand this big before!! I mean, this sucker is HUGE! The wand has several, long fluffy bristles that offers an eye opening effect. The mascara formula is vegan and powered by plant-based fats such as sunflower and olive oils instead of beeswax, which is what most mascaras typically use. I expected to see fantastic results with this giant wand, but sadly I saw nothing. A common misconception that comes with mascaras is many people believe the bigger the wand, the bigger the lashes. However, it is actually the opposite. The smaller the wand, the bristles can actually grasp onto the lashes easier. Versus a big wand that skips over lashes and can appear too clumpy. This was definitely the case here. The wand was far too big for my little lashes that the mascara did pretty much nothing. Even with 2-3 coats, I barely saw a difference. I really disliked this product and I think you're better off buying the Essence Lash Princess for $5.99.
