I have never tried any Lancome products prior to this one. It isn't just the fact that they're OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive but, the brand has never really intrigued me. Lancome is a French based cosmetics and fragrance brand that has been around since 1935. From their many prestigious awards, celebrity endorsements, and extravagant products this brand is "elite" among the rest. This moisturizer is actually reasonably priced compared to their other skin products that be several hundred dollars. This product is described as a "light weight moisturizer with 11 amino acids that visibly de-stresses and gives skin a glowing look." This product is suitable for sensitive skin and has a light floral scent (similar to other luxury skincare products). Instead of a cream or gel formula, this moisturizer is a milky cream texture. It is weightless formula that leaves skin feeling plump and glowy. It also helps to even skin tone and texture. The unique moisturizer helps to fight off external pollutants that can lead to quicker aging. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical with all these claims. But, this stuff is POWERFUL and it WORKS. I loved the light, airy formula. It felt like nothing was on my skin. Throughout wear, my face never felt greasy or dry. It product helped my skin stay hydrated ALL DAY LONG. My skin instantly looked brighter. I especially loved this product under my makeup as it did not feel too heavy. The glass component the product is in, makes it feel much more luxurious. Overall, I enjoyed this product much more than I thought I would. However, I don't think I will re-purchase. I would rather suggest the Clinique Moisture Surge instead. It has the same light weight feeling and can be used morning or evening. You can also choose from several sizes and price ranges.
