Lancome is not only one of the oldest, but one of the most prestigious makeup lines on the market. The brand first started with skincare but throughout the ages has branched out into the makeup and fragrance industry as well. One of the brands most popular products are their mascaras. Within the last year, Lancome added another mascara to their arsenal. Enter Lancome Lash Idole mascara. This product claims to deliver volume, length, and lift to each lash. It also claims to be a clump free and flake free lasting up to 24 hours. Maybe I'm too picky or maybe I just got a bad product, but I seem to be the only person who absolutely hates this mascara. Every I talk to that has tried it loves it, but it just didn't do what it claimed to. To start, Lancome states that the formula of this product is a gel like consistency. Not too wet and not too thick. However, I had a major issue with this mascara drying down. If I blinked before it was dried, I had ugly black spots everywhere. Another problem I encountered was that the wand barely grabbed any product. I noticed I had to jiggle the brush around in the container several times before I picked up enough product.
