As a VERY pale girl, sunscreen was always more of my enemy than my friend. I remember being the only kid at the pool having to reapply every 45 minutes because I burned so easy. Not only was I horribly embarrassed but the sunscreen burned my eyes and lets not forget about that ghastly white cast it left. So, although I’m an adult now, and I’m aware that sunscreen is a vital step in a good skincare routine, I haven’t always been the best about adding it in. Thankfully, the beauty industry has grown so much since I was a kid that sunscreen isn’t the pain it used to be. Live Tinted was created by South-Asian beauty entrepreneur, Deepica Mutyala who wanted to help elevate people of color and make them feel more included in the beauty space. Which means, this sunscreen has absolutely no white cast (finally!). Instead, it gives a glow tint to the skin making it look juicy and hydrated. On my no makeup days, I use this all over my face to keep it both protected and looking gorgeous. Another thing to love about this product is that its a 3-in-1. It’s a sunscreen, moisturizer, and primer. So it’s actually the perfect base for your makeup and can be easily layered. This sunscreen is also cruelty free and vegan, dermatologist tested, and reef safe. I am beyond blown away by this product. I think this brand is definitely changing the sunscreen game and it’s the only one I’ll buy from now on!
