It's been a quick minute since I reviewed a foundation. But, this is a good one to come back on! Lorac is (unfortunately) a brand that can get forgotten about in the constant new releases. But, I have always been attracted to this brand. I don't know if it is their modern, chic packaging or how they take the time to really craft a good product instead of just always releasing stuff. But, I am more curious about this brand because you rarely hear people talking about it. That can sometimes help you to form your own opinions about a product without any bias in the back of your mind. I'm not going to lie, I bought this foundation based solely off the swanky packaging. Sometimes I just do that. But, I was very pleased with how well this product performed! This is honestly my ideal foundation. It is medium to buildable coverage. You don't look cakey, it is the perfect amount of coverage with the most beautiful velvety soft finish. I was also very pleased with the shade range (over 25 shades). I don't think 40+ shades in a foundation collection is totally necessary if the brand takes the time to perfect each one, which Lorac definitely did. This foundation gives the face a soft, airbrushed look. It is very lightweight no matter how many layers you choose to apply. It is crease proof (when set) and last throughout the whole day. It actually reminded me of one of my old favorite foundations from Physician's Formula that was recently discontinued. I'm so happy I found something that looks and feels great! This product would work great for all skin types and the lightweight finish will make you feel like you're wearing no makeup at all!
