In the past, makeup revolution has created some copy-cat eye shadow palettes. They have copied brands such as Urban Decay, Too Faced, and Tarte. They create a similar color story but more often than not, the shadows come out powdery and unpigmented. I was very intrigued when I saw they had created a few new items that are entirely their own. They also seemed to have changed the formula to be much more buttery and intense, but still keeping at their famous low prices! The one that really caught my eye was this all foil palette. It features warm shades like golds, browns, and reds. With a pop of color like pink and orange. And also has white and black to add a bit of intensity to your look. When I swatched these colors I was stunned. I had never seen such quality shadows from this brand before, and I knew I had to try it for myself. When applying it to the eyes, you don't even need to spray your brush to ensure color, it speaks for itself. There is a bit of fall out, but that is expected with any product that has high shimmer. I love to put the white or champagne color in my inner corner to really make my eyes pop. I don't use this shimmers all over though. Instead, I will use a matte color to blend around my crease and then will go in with a fun foil color to give my eyelids that extra bit of dimension! You don't need to wet your brush but, if you lightly mist setting spray on your eyelids when complete the shadows stay on much longer. I think for such a low price, you get such intense, buttery shades. This palette is a STEAL!
