Maybelline is known for their lip products, especially their classic bullet lipsticks. But, I think this product put Maybelline back on the map. Of course, Maybelline always does TV and magazine advertisements, but what brought the most attention to this gloss was after it went viral on Tik Tok. Yes, I am reviewing another Tik Tok beauty item. But, that's what everyone is asking me to review. The Lifter Gloss is formulated with hyaluronic acid to keep lips looking hydrated and juicy. The extra large doe foot applicator also helps to give the lips a fuller, sexier appearance. The color range is mostly pinks and some light nudes. However, I wish that they would release some darker, brown tones for people of color. But, since it is a newer product, we may see that more inclusive shades in the future. Besides the jumbo applicator, my favorite aspect of this gloss is that it's not sticky. I will REFUSE to wear a lip gloss if it's too sticky. It becomes an absolute nightmare throughout the day because it is like a mouse trap sticking to everything it comes in contact with. But, this product isn't sticky or goopy in the slightest. The hyaluronic acid in this gloss helps to naturally enhance the shine of the lips without adding the excess tackiness that many competing products. I would compare this formula VERY closely to the Fenty Gloss Bomb. In fact, the shade Moon in the Lifter Gloss is nearly an exact match for the Gloss Bomb in shade Fenty Glow. The Maybelline gloss is a GREAT option for those who are fans of the Gloss Bomb, but aren't wanting to spend nearly $20. At only $8.99, this lip gloss is the perfect addition to your makeup look. You better believe I'll be buying every single shade!
