Let me begin by saying, every cleansing balm I have tried in the past I have absolutely hated. I disliked the greasy feeling it left on my skin, I disliked how difficult it still was to remove my eye makeup, and how it would even burn my skin. I had pretty much given up on the idea of a cleansing balm all together until I saw this. Since it was under $15, I thought I may as well give it a try. And if I hated it, I didn't break the bank. Within the past few months Physicians Formula has released a plethora of new products, including loads of skincare! I'm not sure if they are doing some rebranding or what but this is part of their new collection. When you open it up, there is a plastic sealed cap to ensure the product doesn't dry out and it also comes with a handy little spatula to help scrape product out. It smells absolutely uplifting, just like fresh matcha should. After rubbing the balm between my fingers and letting the product warm up, I rub it on my face in circular motions. After about a minute of doing that, you'll see that your makeup has melted off! I then grab a wet washcloth and wipe away the leftover product. This balm is not irritating to the skin or eyes whatsoever, which is what really sold me on this product. It leaves your skin feeling plump, hydrated, and refreshed. The matcha helps to clarify and detoxify pores while nourishing the skin. It never made my skin feel greasy or oily. I seriously love this product and can't say enough good things about it! If you are a fan of cleansing balms, I promise you this one will be your new holy grail!
