Makeup Revolution has come out with a few sister makeup brands in the last year. I Heart Revolution which is geared more towards younger teens just starting in makeup and Revolution Pro which has more expensive, artist quality products. This palette has 10 baked shadows in varying formulas like matte, satin, and extreme shimmers. It is mostly a warm toned palette with the exception of a teal and white shimmer. It is nice that the palette has a big mirror, however, it feels cheaply made. If you drop this (which I have) the mirror shatters and the baked shadows fall right out. The color story is interesting, but doesn't completely make sense to me. I felt like they should've kept it warm toned and done a matte nude shade instead to help blend. Don't get me wrong, there are for sure some winners in here. The two matte browns are FABULOUS and I actually use them quite often. They feel very soft and blend seamlessly. The other shadow I enjoyed was the shimmering white. It appears to be just a pure white shade, but when applied it has reflects of gold in it which are just stunning. However, ALL of the shimmers are very fragile. They have to be packed in layers to stay on the eyes. Even then, they still flake off throughout the day. I have tried many different eyeshadow primers and even glitter glue and nothing seems to help them stay on. The three satin shades are very underwhelming. They have little to no color when applied and they seem to disappear when blended with other shades. Overall, this palette has a few good shades. But, there are so many other palettes that you can buy that have much better quality shadows in them for the same price or even cheaper.
