Oh, I wish I had good things to say about this product. But, I’m not exaggerating when I say this may be the WORST skincare item I’ve ever tried. As part of our initial training, we received multiple Sephora Collection items to try. A lot of which I actually enjoyed! They offer high quality products at reasonable prices which is what makes the line so popular among shoppers. But this product was beyond disappointing. To start off, it smells so strange. The only scent that closely describes it is the smell of paint thinner. It does claim to be “fragrance free” so I’m not quite sure which ingredient is making it smell so weird…The formula however is quite nice. It’s nothing spectacular, but it is a lightweight creamy texture. However, after about 15 minutes the moisturizer starts to peel/ball up. At night, this isn’t that big of a deal. But, if you tried to wear this as a base under your foundation, it would move and peel any makeup you lay on top of it. No matter how well you set it. To have a good moisturizer, it HAS to work well with other products, especially makeup. I thought I was just being a beauty snob by hating this product, but then I read the reviews. Several people agreed this product destroyed their skin. Hundreds of pictures showed girls with rashes and horrible breakouts, all linked back to this moisturizer. There isn’t much else to say except, DO NOT BUY THIS. I feel the need to be brutally honest here to help protect you all from having a negative reaction from this product. If you are looking for a drugstore moisturizer that is inexpensive but works, Cerave or La Roche Posay are both affordable and much better options than this.
