There is practically a primer for everything. Whether you have dry skin, oily, fine lines, or dark spots, there is definetley a primer that will work for you. The Stila One Step Correct is such a unique, innovative product. Not only does it prime skin, it also color corrects and nourishes. This product is in a league of its own because it has three color correcters in it. Green helps to neutralize redness, lavender helps to brighten, and peach diminishes the look of dark spots. I really love the packaging on this product. The see through helix design is so appealing to look at. However, the product inside is just average. As a color corrector, it certainly does its job. My dark under eyes and red spots were instantly covered. But, as a primer, I was not impressed. Within a couple hours, I noticed creasing and spots where my liquid foundation had moved. The primer also claims to have a hydrating effect. I didn't feel that whatsoever. This primer has a silicone base to it, so it is more pore filling than hydrating. I also noticed that when applying this product it works better when it is pressed into the skin. When I rubbed the product around on my face, it started to peel up. Overall, this product works great as a color corrector, but I don't recommend it as a primer. If you are looking for a primer with color corrector in it, try the Smashbox ones! They have green and purple to help decrease redness and brighten.
