Tarte, one of America's top selling prestige makeup brands, recently launched an inexpensive makeup line geared towards teens. Sometimes when brands try to do this, they can lose their product quality. But, I have to say I am really impressed by this line. Everything is up to Tarte's usual cruelty free, high quality standards. The one product people couldn't stop talking about was this face wash. This cleanser is cruelty free, dermatologist tested, vegan, and is FREE of gluten. This hydrating cleanser helps to remove dirt and oil from the skin without leaving skin feeling too dry. It's two main ingredients are witch hazel and prickly pear. The witch hazel helps to soothe the skin and tone while the prickly pear has antioxidants in it to help brighten up your face. It does have a strong citrus fragrance. Fragrance in skincare can sometimes be irritating. This one doesn't seem to bother my skin, but I know it can bother other people's skin. If you are extra sensitive, I would probably stay away from this because the high fragrance may make your skin upset. Other that the scent, I love everything about this product! The packaging is adorable. You get a good amount of product for the price. I think this was a smart move for Tarte to create this line!
