If I've learned anything as I've gotten older, it's the importance of sunscreen. Especially for a pale girl like myself. Not only does it protect your skin from harsh UV rays, it also has many other benefits like; prevents premature aging, lowers the risk or skin cancer, maintains an even skin tone, and helps to boost collagen, keratin, and elastin. It's said you should wear sunscreen everyday to protect your skin as much as possible. But, sometimes that can be hard if your sunscreen is bright white, peels up, or just doesn't layer well under your makeup. This summer, I'm on the hunt to find the BEST sunscreen out there and I think I found a winner. This product is a zinc based mineral formula (zinc is the key ingredient in most sunscreens that helps to protect against harmful rays) with a slight tint that quickly adjusts to all skin tones leaving the skin with a soft matte, even appearance. This product is light as air and feels like you have nothing on the skin at all. It also layers beautifully under makeup. On my lighter makeup days, I like to use this sunscreen to even out my skin tone and spot conceal with a more full coverage concealer and I have a gorgeous no makeup makeup look in just a few minutes! Another great aspect of this product is that it doesn't burn if it's near your eyes. My eyes get extremely sensitive when I have sunscreen on, they can even begin to swell if it's bad enough. But, I never had any sort of burning sensation or any irritation for that matter with this product. I have so so many sunscreens over the years and this is seriously the best one. This is perfect for anyone who is tired of the obnoxious, white appearance of their sunscreen. I highly recommend product and can't say enough good things about it! If you are in need of body sunscreen, I recommend Sun Bum spray sunscreens too (they smell like piña coladas and are non sticky!).
