If you know me, you know I get VERY excited about new highlighters. When swatching this little guy at work, I initially loved the payoff and intense shimmer it created. But, after doing a full face and applying it with a brush, it was a little bit different...First of all this is a loose highlighter. It is so loose that when you ever so carefully dip your brush into the pot, the pigment flys everywhere. It got on my counter, my floor, and my clothes. Highlighters can have a bit of kickback, but this one creates a whole other type of mess. Another issue I had with this product was it was just too chunky. I had to really take the time to blend it out on my cheekbones to where the pigment didn't look so heavy. I used a variety a different brushes with this product and a sponge and nothing seemed to really spread it out properly. I just ended up having big flecks of gold on my face and a mess on my counter. I personally didn't enjoy this item the way I thought I would and actually ended up returning it. But, I must say the color and intensity is very beautiful. It just takes a bit of time and patience to get it to perform right.
