Tatcha is one of the top prestige skincare brands at Sephora. They are known for their one of a kind Japanese ingredients like fermented rice, green tea, and algae to turn skincare into a ritual instead of a routine. Every product is created at the Tatcha Institute in Tokyo by Japanese scientists who merge science and skincare into products. Since their launch in 2009 Tatcha has won multiple awards from companies like Glamour and Allure. Their founder Vicky Tsai even won the Founders Award from WWD BeautyInc. With all these incredible attributes its no wonder this brand is so popular. I had always dreamed of trying a Tatcha product but since they’re so expensive I wasn’t sure if I ever would. But, thankfully I was lucky enough to try the dewy skin cream. And let me tell you, this product absolutely lived up to the hype. This rich moisturizer is made with featured ingredients like Japanese purple rice (which gives it its beautiful purple color), Okinawa algae, and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients create the most luxurious moisturizer I’ve ever tried. The dewy skin cream works wonderfully on everyone, but is ideal for dry and mature skin types. The antioxidants from the purple rice help to give skin a juicy, healthy glow. I especially love how this cream wears underneath my makeup. Although it’s a thicker formula, it feels incredibly lightweight and creates a gorgeous base for makeup. I notice when I put this on before my foundation, my makeup never creases or looks cakey throughout the day. I really think this may be my new favorite skincare product. I am beyond impressed with the formula and how radiant it makes my skin look. If you’re wanting to splurge on some skincare, this is the one to try.
