I have always struggled with dry skin. And dry skin also means dry patches. I can use all the serums and moisturizers I want to combat it, but sometimes those dry, flaky areas just won't go away. I recently invested in this sugar scrub from Tula and let me just say, it is LIFE CHANGING. Immediately after using this product my skin felt baby smooth. This scrubs main ingredient is just sugar, a natural exfoliant that dissolves easily in water. Other exfoliants on the market have plastic beads as their exfoliating agent, which can cause irritation and tearing in the skin. If you buy a physical exfoliator, make sure it is using a natural agent such as sugar or rice, as they are more gentle and won't harm the skin. This product also contains pineapple and papaya (which make it smell like a tropical getaway) which have naturally occurring enzymes which penetrate the skin below the surface to help chemically exfoliate. Not to mention, all of Tula's products are made with probiotics, which help to lock in moisture and soothe irritated skin. I love how fine this product is, its small sugars help to clean out even the tiniest of pores. It is recommended to use this product 2-4 times a week (be careful not to over exfoliate the skin!). I like to mix this in with my Tula Cult Classic cleanser and see both products go to work. Overall, this is my favorite scrub I have ever tried. It's gentle yet effective without leaving my skin looking irritated. I highly recommend this product, especially to those who struggle with dry or sensitive skin. This will make you feel like you just left the spa for a fraction of the price!
