Looking for a great self tanner is difficult enough, but looking for something to use on your face is even more difficult. It's suggested that the self tanner you use for your body is not always safe to use on your face. This is due to the fact the face is a much more delicate and sensitive area. The ingredients in most self tanners have chemicals that can irritate your face. So it's important to find something that is face friendly. This facial self tanner claims to give a gradual, light glow by morning. Let me begin by saying, it is not light nor gradual. This stuff is POWERFUL. On the bottle it says use 1-2 drops mixed in with moisturizer. Since I am a skeptic and I always overdo things, I used 6 drops. That was a big mistake.... When I woke up the next morning, I was the color of a carrot with a distinct line near my neck. I had no clue how potent this was. A few weeks later, I tried again and used only one drop and by morning I had a perfectly tanned face. I am giving this product 3/5 stars because I disagree with how it is marketed. It gives you an instant tan overnight. It also claims to be very hydrating because of the aloe. You are supposed to mix the tanner with your moisturizer at night, but when I woke up my face felt very dry and a bit itchy. This product does work and does not break out your face. But, use ONLY 1 drop because this will make you dark quick. It works decently, but I believe there are better products similar to this one out there.
