I always love trying new products at work whether its an expensive brand like Tarte or inexpensive like NYX. But, one of the few brands I hadn't tried at my job yet was our very own Ulta brand. I hadn't heard many reviews about our brand at all, so I decided to try it for myself. Mascara is one of those things that companies are ALWAYS trying new ideas on. Whether its a unique wand. a different formula, or even a bendable tip. I picked this specific one because the bristles were something I hadn't seen before; VERY long, plastic, and had a sharp tip. I wasn't sure if this would help to lengthen my lashes or if I would end up poking my eye out....but, I gave it a try. To begin, the formula is quit watery. Not the worst I've ever experienced but if you have slightly watery eyes, it will run instantly. The wand is a MESS. I feel like the tips on this mascaras are going to be too long to grab onto any lashes, no matter how short or long. I have very small lashes and this wand actually poked me in the eye which caused my eye makeup to run because my eyes started water profusely. The wand also has the spiked tips too far separated to where the product only gets on a couple lashes at a time, which creates a lot more work to just apply mascara. There is a wide variety of inexpensive mascaras at Ulta that work much much better than this one and they WON'T poke your eyes out in the process.
