Shoutout to Tati for introducing this product to me because I've seriously never been so impressed with a primer before. Wet n Wild used to be the "Dollar Tree" of makeup. Most of their products were really cheap and didn't work very well. But, over the last few years there's been a huge shift in the company. I'm not sure if some things changed in corporate or what, but this brand has really done a 360. I've never used a ton of Wet n Wild products, but since they're becoming so popular in the beauty community I thought I'd better start (and since they're so cheap, if I hate it, it's not the end of the world.) Wet n Wild claims this primer is the "first of its kind" because it mattifies and hydrates all while being silicone free. This primer is made with two key ingredients; gooseberry and Jeju blossom. The gooseberry is rich in vitamin c and natural antioxidants and Jeju blossom is a natural moisturizer. This product is also vegan, cruelty free, fragrance free, and paraben free. Which is pretty impressive since it's only $7. The Impossible primer has a silky smooth finish that makes skin feel like velvet. It helps to blur pores and imperfections to create a seamless base. This product can be used on any skin type because the formula is both mattifying and hydrating. It diminishes excess shine while also keeping skin feeling hydrated. When I first applied this, I was absolutely blown away. It literally looked like I had used an airbrush filter on Instagram. I've also seen people who never wear makeup use this product to fill in pores or even out their skin. Which is a great quick fix if you want to go foundation free! All you need is a small pea sized amount for your entire face. I tried this primer with a variety of foundations in both matte and dewy finishes and it looked flawless and kept my makeup in place all day! This is probably my new favorite primer and I highly recommend it! (It's also a dupe for the Benefit Porefessional but without the silicone).
